Tooth Affair

My Sunday evenings are absolutely devoted to reading,
reading and more reading. I can completely and a little snack for Arshi..and
dive into that beautiful ocean again wasting no time. There is absolute silence
in the house, Raja being busy preparing his lecture for Monday, Arshi in her
desk drawing and painting and messing up all the afternoon…Her weekends start
on Thursday night. After that no study at home until Monday…grrrrrr… BUT NO ,no no I was meant to ignore all these
for Sundays at least…
Around 9.30 when I was ready to serve dinner, Arshi came to
me with a page saying that she wrote a poem to the Tooth Fairy this time. Oh..I
forgot she lost her tooth this Saturday!! (She always writes a note the Tooth
fairy mentioning how religiously she brushes her teeth twice daily and it is
very white and shiny!!! ) This time she planned to keep her poem under the
pillow along with her tooth (1st canine)!! Normally she gets cash
from the tooth fairy. But now all she wants is a PET CAT or a Barbie or at
least a story book !! Now how can the poor
tooth fairy get all these on a rainy Sunday Night?
I found the poem very interesting !!My 9.5 yrs old darling
is just a little child. I fondly treasure her childhood hope she will be my
little baby some more time. Before the
tooth fairy took her poem along with the tooth, Mamma quickly scanned it and is
now sharing with you. If you are free please have a look..I am sure it will
bring a smile on your face…
P.S. The tooth fairy gave her Rs. 100/- and mamma promised
to add some more money to buy her next book !! (Her teary eyes had asked: Why Momma? why can’t I get a pet cat?...Oh Its Monday
morning Babu: mamma will explain, when you return…now quick get ready!!That Was my answer…I know I fail to be a funny
mother!!)
